The Nova Scotia Regulator of Medical Laboratory Sciences (NSRMLS) is the professional regulatory body responsible for the licensure of

Medical Laboratory Technologists Medical Laboratory Assistants and Combined Laboratory and Xray Technologists within Nova Scotia.

NSRMLS is the voice for professional concerns with an exclusive directive to regulate Medical Laboratory Professionals(MLP) in Nova Scotia.

NSRMLS is dedicated to continual improvement of patient safety by the ongoing improvement of the practice of medical laboratory technology and quality medical laboratory testing.

Professionalism is ensured by entrance to practice requirements, compulsory life-long competencies and a formal process for issues and concerns.

NSRMLS promotes a variety of opportunities for professional advancement for Medical Laboratory Professionals.
